"Resort feel, wonderfully renovated rooms"

This is a wonderful property. It is set up in the form or condos. There are several buildings, built close together. In each building there are 4 main floor, and four second floor units. The whole resort has been recently renovated, and they did a fabulous job. Each condo has a sitting area, full kitchen including silverware etc. The sheets, towels, mattresses and TV are new and high quality.

I was frustrated that the breakfast did not start until 8:30 on weekends. Even on weekends, travelers want to get started earlier than that. Because of the late start, when it did open every single person in the hotel arrived at the same time, and they were totally overwhelmed. I didn't end up eating, because I got frustrated waiting for the one waffle maker to open up.

The pool is outdoor and is in the middle of the condo units. It is small, and was mobbed with kids, so I stayed away.

Overall, if in Des Moines, I would certainly recommend this place.

"Will be back again"

I liked the place a lot,only wish they came w/ wireless internet connection for free & came w/ hot buffet breakfast, that would be excellent. Otherwise I don't have any complain, the beds were comfortable, I like the flat screen TV, we can turn it to face the beds & watched it from there. The room was clean & roomy. We arrived earlier than check in time,so the room wasn't ready,but they had it ready 1/2 hour before check in time for us. The place look more like a condo than a hotel.
